Twitter, Tweets, and Twubs
So I’m starting to catch the Twitter fever (go follow me at @adamdmoore). I’m even starting to think it’s better than Facebook. For example, as I’m sure all of you already know, you can tag posts in Twitter and then go to a site that aggregates all the tweets on that topic. For example, I’m about to go to the Poets, Prophets, & Preachers conference this weekend, and people are using #ppp09 as a tag for the conference. So I can go to twubs and see what everyone tweeting about Poets, Prophets, & Preachers is saying, as long as they tag their tweets with #ppp09. Of course this will be even more valuable as the conference is going on. I can even embed a live feed from the #ppp09 twub.

Of course this will be much more interesting when the conference is actually taking place. For example, some of my Baptist friends are at the CBF Assembly in Houston this week. You can go to the #cbfassembly twub and see in real time what people are saying about the event. Very cool. Now I just need an iPhone to make this easier…
